Vandersteen 2Ce or 2Ce Sig?

Ever so slowly, I'm retroactively working my way up the upgrade path. I presently have a pair of 1Bs connected to an NAD 7000 (40w) receiver. The way it is now, for example, Norah Jones honks or shouts on certain notes, and the bass is subdued, but slightly muddy. In a couple of days, I'll have an Arcam Alpha 9 integrated (75w) and Alpha 7 SE CDP to drive them, and will see if that'll be an improvement over the NAD for the 1Bs. Next, I'd like to upgrade to used 2Ces, looking for ones in the mid to upper hundreds.

Since I'll be using these electronics for the next two to three years, I'd like to know opinions on which Vandies to purchase. Will I hear any difference between the Sigs and non-Sigs with this front end? Thanks in advance.
