1st order 2-way monitor. Recommendations?

Hey gang.

I want a nice sounding 1st order two-way. I don't want to break the bank, but I'm not looking for cheap cheap either.

I like high-end detail and speed. Music is classical guitar, spanish guitar, harp, a little bluegrass, piano, some quartet or chamber music. This is not for rockin - it's for simple but detailed music. Bass is a low priority compared to speed, detail and accuracy. I am probably more inclined to get into a monitor style than a floorstander. Fancy finish is not mandatory. I want money to go into function, not bling.

1st order only. Not negotiable! ;) I already have higher order designs and want to embrace the 1st order design philosophy for a change.

I'm trying to create a shortlist of speakers to investigate based on rec's from inmates.

Thanks for your input. A name or a link is all the typing I ask.
