Serious Advice

Hukk, I am afraid that some of us have been having some hopefully innocent fun at your expense. Kreutzer, Rasoumovsky and Waldstein can be found a biography of Beethoven. They do not make capacitors.

Having said that, unless you are an deeply experienced speaker designer/builder, I would strongly advise against arbitrary substitution of crossover components. I am confident that the Vienna Acoustics people carefully considered their component selections. They may not be perfect and cost surely was a consideration, but randomly substituting components, even those of premium quality, is at best a crap shoot.

To quote, for example, Martin Colloms (High Performance Loudspeakers, Sixth Edition, p. 305,) on crossover components, "Often the design decisions are based on careful subjective assessment, where measurement does not provide the full picture." Colloms advises against such substitutions. On the following page, he asserts, "Casual upgrade of a crossover network may actually worsen results."

This is good advice. Enjoy the music.
