MMG IIIc Issues need help

I have a pair of IIIc's that have been in storage for awhile and I just set them up and not getting any tweeter response in either speaker.
Fuses are OK and the ribbon appears to be in fine shape, they were stored with the protective magnetic strip and I did not remove it until they were on the stands.
Is there any check I can do with a voltmeter to make sure current is even getting to the tweeters or a simple test to see if the ribbons are ok (or not)??
It just seems odd both are not working???
