Home Speaker Asylum

General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

No

Any setup has many sweet spots and all of them sound different. At different times one may prefer one over another. Also not everyone will agree on what is the 'best' sweet spot for any given room/listening position/setup combination

Do you think there's only one sweet spot in a concert hall? It's the same question, really, and that is "Do you think that the sound is good only in one particular spot and that it's impossible for you ever to enjoy it as much in any other spot in the room?"

On the other hand, while there is more than one sweet spot, there are also quite a few 'sour spots'. All spots in the room are definitely not sweet, and some are definitely sour all of the time :-)
