With my system in our living room, and properly setup, the sweet spot is rather within a few feet on our sofa.With the current trend of Real Estate to "declutter" rooms, its been deemed essential that our system be relegated to a corner in the living room.
Funny, other than a slightly boomy midbass (speakers are dipoles), it sounds like the musicians are located in the corner of the room, with an image that sounds rather like some clubs I've played at!!! The realism is still there, just smaller!
