Add Your Review for the 1.8 MkII |
Ive owned these gems for about 5 months now and can't rave enough about them. The sound took awhile to develope. I had never "broken" speakers in before so this was a new trip. I'm glad that I took the time to do it right.
I have these set up in a HT system. I'm using the Contour Center and the 1.1 dyns for the rear. I'm also using REL Q100 sub. The system works great for HT. Music is where the 1.8s shine though. I am spending more time with music now. That in and of itself is a good indication of good sound. Inviting. I was a little worried about some reviews saying the Dyns where Bright...I find them neutral and smooth. I can lister to them for quite sometime without any fatigue. They create a nice space. I use the 1.1s as a fill when listening to stereo programs, It's wonderful. They mix well with the REL sub. They have a good bottom on their own but the sub fills them out. The built quality seems pretty good also. I got the Birds eye maple finish...Killer...I listened to: KEF, Monitor Audio, B&W,DHT?....The Dyns won out....
