I've run the B&W DM7s since 1978 (Mk 1..but upgraded to be more like Mk2 - then modded some more - Superb speakers) -also use modded Quad ESL57s.

They turn up on eBay UK a few times a year.
The Meridian M2 I heard - but would agree with the opinion at the time that they are a bit 'pokey' in dynamics - and there are now issues with the rubber surrounds of the KEF B110s afer over 20 years.
The tweeter, too, is hardly the height of sophistication.

Interestingly, on eBay UK at the moment (last day or so) is what appears to be a very similar speaker to the DM7/II - the DM2000 - Take a look at the link.

The tweeter diaphragm would be the polyamid TXS26 - and the other 2 units look familiar...so if the DM7s don't turn up maybe these would be acceptable (and pretty cheap..??)
