I have read some positive reviews of this speaker in Stereophile and in The Absolute Sound. To my ears they sound gorgeous, with much greater "presence" and ease of presentation compared to the smaller 804's, especially in the bass department. Whether they're $1500 better is subject to some debate. On the other side, there is the decision between 803 vs. the more expensive 802. I'd especially like to hear from 803 owners, and hear what led to decision between 803 vs. 804 or perhaps 803 vs. 802. Thanks!
