Being a long time fan of the top mounted linaeum tweeter found on the Optimus LX-5, my draw almost dropped when I came across an updated version available from the same folks that bought you great Redbook playback in the Toshiba 3950...the same configuration is back in a bigger box sold under license as the Toshiba SST6200. It seems it might be a decent speaker as a 6.5" polypropylene mid/bass unit is used...if they contracted a legitimate speaker consultant to do the design, this might be a great bargain. Has anyone purchased or heard this speaker?Toshiba SST6200 PDF manual
Price seems to be around $ 200
Of course you need to listen to this speaker with the grills off :)
