I had Maggies,but after I moved I could not use the Maggies. Now I have NEAR metal Driver speakers and I think they are better than my old Maggies. I did do A\B testing and preferd the NEARs.Axioms I suspect are good speakers,but this is what I would do.
1.Get the biggest models you can afford for the fronts M60's or 80's I think they are.
2.Request that they send you the crossover units so you can make boxes and hook them up externally.Ask them to just run the wires 1-4' out the back labeled so you know what goes where.
3.After getting them hooked up and know they work ok get the components using Audiophile grade parts. SoniCaps ,Mills Resistors better Inductors and wiring.
That is what I would do. That is the only way I would go with Axioms after knowing what I know now.
