One has to wonder if the product is suspect if it only sounds good with carefully selected source material. On the other hand, maybe the salesperson is tired of hearing the usual demo crap that people drag in. If I were a dealer, I might consider such a rule, if only to discourage those bringing in Norah Jones' album.
