They allowed me to take it home. But the fan noise was outrageous. Next time I was at the shop the saleman took me aside and said his boss, the owner, had chewed him out for letting me take the open box Rogue unit home. The boss told the salesmans I was just "borrowing it for a night", I never had any intention of buying it.A month later, when I bought my McIntosh MA6900 elsewhere, I faxed the distrustful owner a copy of the sales slip (price blacked out).
