Take a look at the 6XL's over at www.carolinaaudio.com He makes amazing transmission lines that give great bass exension in a totally coherent way. Really I think that this is the way to go. He also uses series crossovers for a completely transparent midrange.I am using the Carolina JTM's in my room using the 4" full range Jordan driver and with his transmission line design am getting beteer bass out of them the the Audio Physic Virgo's that I used to have. They are fantastic speakers. The JTM's are $1500 and the slightly larger 6XL's ( 6 1/2" 2-ways ) are $1800 and will give you deeper bass.
I get the idea that you are really enjoying the coherence and transparency of you speakers and this transmission line design is the speaker that finally fot the bill for me.... coherence is so important.
