Hey Dave.As far as I know, the Audience line sits below the Contours at the Dynaudio entry-level position. As Mr. Sky is only looking for floor-standers, I figured the 72 (or the 62) might well fit the bill, although it'd be a tough load for his existing amps unless the room is small, in which case the 72s would likely be too big.
I wouldn't classify the 72s as warm either - just not fatigueing. I heard them in a (roughly) 11'x17' room with a 100wpc Adcom amp/cd and they still sounded smooth. Having owned that same amp, I was pleasantly surprised at the poise showed by the 72s. I think that with a higher-quality amp (tube or SS), they would just get better.
