Tweeter's more "modern" so not the vintage (lacking but lovely) sound of the old advents, and they don't have half the bass -not half the punch or depth: I dumped mine on ebay for $120. Personally, I wouldn't take the time to re-do the woofer surrounds. Build is mid 80's -I think.
