Sure. I'm playing with some different pieces right now to try to find a system that I like. They are an Arcam Alpha 7 integrated (40wpc) vs. a hotrod/mod Harman Kardon A500 integrated tube amp (25wpc). The HK is currently on the bench. It's being recapped with blackgates, RCA jacks are being replaced with copper and silver for the phono stage. Speaker terminals are being upgraded, as well as power cord. Also, tone control circuit will be bypassed. I have no idea how this is going to sound. Currently trying out an NAD C541i cd player vs the Music Hall CD 25. Interconnects will be Grovers, which are a custom silver wire job made by Steve Hoffman's engineer, and are on the way. Speaker wire will be either Analysis Plus or Harmonic Tech, but I can't decide at the moment. Currently using generic RCA interconnects and Tributaries copper wire. I'd be happy to hear any advice that you have to offer.
