They are an excellent speaker at an excellent value IMO.They are $8K, - not $11K, - and they have built in amps, - and the amplification sounds great, - pretty cool....
Everything's relative, and although one might recognize that the Solos are more full range, more cohesive and far more detailed, - are they worth the additional cost even with the amplification built in?
There are also a few $4K speakers out there that I'm really impressed with...Cheers,
