A little help...

I've found a speaker, Polk LSI 15, that semms right for me. A local dealer will sell me a pair for $1300. Question: Is there anything I should be looking at, in this price range, that represents a better value than the Polks? Any suggestion(s) greatly appreciated.

Please note: Most important, for me, is a speakers ability to cast a convincing soundstage. Things like deep bass, exotic tweeters etc., are secondary considerations. I've been using Spica TC-50s for the past decade and have been quite content, except for their anemic sounding bass. (The Spicas don't do much of anything below 50HZ) The Polks seem to offer superior soundstaging while going much deeper in the bass region; obviously a plus. Won't, spend more than $1,500. TYIA.
