Unless you live in a dry climate. 14 years is pretty good for anybody's speakers. Yes refoam by all means, not hard but it takes patience, or send'm out if you like. Just make sure the foams are correct. The sites that sell the kits will show you how to measure things, but take note if the cone is flat at the edge, or angled. Makes a difference. There are tweaks here in the archives to coat them, but it only prolongs the agony. Hope this helps.
