Two recommendations:1) BESL (www.bamberglab.com) Model 5 with the subwoofer stand (I asked Phil about near wall placement and he recommended this model)
2) North Creek has a model which they claim at their website works well near the front wall.
3) In general, look for a speaker where all drivers and ports are on the front baffle. Any rear port, for example, will need some space from the front wall. Dipoles won't work close to front walls due to their radiation patterns. Any speaker with a rear firing driver will not do well either.
