Shawn,One small point. What you refer to as the T-Line in pyour post would actually be a Labirynth enclosure, one designed to totally lose and attenuate the back wave. Labirynth's are not tuned, but made as long as possible, with the idea to prevent any back reflected energy at all, just total absorption.
True T-Lines (IMO) are indeed tuned, and are an attempt to mostly neutralize the driver resonance through acoustical loading, along the lines of a 1/4 wave tuned T-line, with enough damping to control the other even and odd line multiples, but not so much damping as to eliminate the 1/4 wave back loading on the driver. For a true T-Line, there would be no attempt to utilize the line output in a bass reflex manner. Any actual acoustic output from the line would be incidental, and would usually end up re-inforcing the woofer output due to the relationships necessary to acheive the acoustic loading at woofer resonance in the first place.
