I still have a pair of DM14's that I bought new in 1982. They are still excellent speakers. The sensitivity is 87db, they require a minimum of 15wpc and have no uppper power limit. These speakers have the APOC system (Audio Power Overload Circuit). This measures the amount of distortion coming into the speaker and shuts themselves down when the amp starts to clip. If you push your amp too far a little red light will turn on at the bottom of the speaker. Hopefully your amp is more than 15wpc. This is why they need a min. of 15wpc. B&W stopped using this system quite some time ago as it lowered the efficiency of the speaker amongst others. The cost at the time was $1000.00.
