There is a film somewhere of me and Tina dancing on an elevated stage at an Albert King show in Bellingham Washington circa 1970. Ike and I had bonded earlier that night at an Ike & Tina show and he allowed me back in the dressing room and I was able shoot pix and they all were shooting dope. When stage time came he pulled me up on it and had me sit in front of Tina's amp. like 3 feet away...and her in a mini dress and all and me siting on the stage and looking up!!
After the show we all went to see Albert and they made folks move from the best booth in front and brought champagne and there we were. I had met them about 4 hours before and it was like we were childhood buddies. During Albert's set Tina asked me to dance...who was I to say no you might ask!
And so we were filmed while we got down and dirty. Afterwards Ike told me that at any concert ever in the future to ask at the stage door for him and he would see that I was in.
They invited me back to Seattle for a party, not being real happy around H I declined.
I would give my left nut for the video, she sure could dance. Oh, my pix burned up in the great fire ....
