The thread below about worst vocalists made me wonder about albums which most everyone considers to be AWFUL.
Some Examples:
Lou Reed "Metal Machine Music"
Neil Young "Trans", "Landing on Water"
CSN "Live It Up"
ELP "Love Beach"
Clash "Cut the Crap"
Yes "Open Your Eyes", "Tormato" (I'm the biggest Yes fan around, but these redefine "SUCK")
Who "It's Hard"
Queen "Hot Space"
Bob Dylan "Knocked Out Loaded"
Aerosmith "Rock in a Hard Place"
Traffic "Far From Home"
Chicago "13"
Van Morrison "Beautiful Vision"
There are countless more, but these are some of the worst offenders I know of. As awful as these are, the fact is they do have their supporters. Who among you are brave enough to admit to being fans of these (or other equally dreadful albums)? This is ABSOLUTELY NOT a troll-I really think this could evolve into a fun thread, no need for anyone to get scorched.
I cannot admit to being a fan of any of THESE albums (am a fan of all these musicians/groups though), but I WILL stick my neck out and admit to being a fan of some early 80's "Arena Rock" (Loverboy, Foreigner, Asia, Night Ranger, Starship, Reo Speedwagen).
