Stephen Holden's brother-in-law or something?
I slammed the reporter?????
My post was about the Rolling Stones. ANOTHER poster mentioned Stephen Holden. I merely speculated, and admitted to speculating, that it might be difficult for Holden, for ANY reviewer of the music scene, to pan the Rolling Stones. You know, for a newspaper, things like access to celebrities, invitations to parties and premieres, advertising revenue for concert tours, film releases, little bread and butter items like that, influence the way big name acts are treated and reviewed.
This warranted a tirade against me personally?
My post was about the effete, shop-worn, mechanical performance of the Stones. They have become animitronic museum pieces. They either need to freshen things up, or throw in the towel, artistically. That's just my opinion. I'm entitled to it. I've bought enough of their records over the years. I've paid the price of admission, and I'll BOO if I want to.
