UNCUT Albums of the Year

One of the first lists I've seen so far. Someone posted it over at the obner.org site today. Most of the choices aren't too surprising since they do cater to a little older market and editorially are very heavy into American alt-country. Still, lots of good (even if a little uninspired) choices . Comments, omissions, idiotic choices? That Richmond Fontaine is a pretty nice album, but maybe a bit overrated on this list. Definitely worth hearing. Absolutely love that new Mark Lanegan album, though.
