Whenever I hear talk of blues this has been indelibly marked in my mind.

From one of the great movies, in my opinion the best adaptation of a comic book but since I never read comic books I really have no idea. I guess the blues and comic books exist in a similar space in my psyche.

GHOST WORLD has some unusual music choices. Foremost is DEVIL GOT MY WOMAN by Skip James which is truly one of the most extraordinary things ever made. Beyond blues, beyond any classification, a work of art.

Only room for one easy link ... but the scene containing DEVIL GOT MY WOMAN is a great depiction of musical discovery we can all appreciate.
