Lots of serious young men with beards in the background of the Bothy Band gig, i wonder how many pints of Guiness they need before they start to get up and jig a bit.

I prefer the Uillean pipes when they play a more plaintive refrain. My favourite album of all time is Mike Oldfield's Ommadawn and Paddy Moloney plays a 4 minute piece on the Uillean pipes with Mike accompanying him with acoustic guitar and it is stunning.
