I've got every E.L.O. record released. But I gotta tell ya', every one of those records he produced from about 1977 onward all sound the same. Not only his E.L.O records, but those he produced for Petty, Wilburys, and Orbison. I've read the same comments elsewhere, he seems to have a heavy hand in the studio. I think his production work makes every artist sound like Lynne, rather than the artist, and I am not sure that is the work of a good producer.
