I once heard a guy sit down and play Fingal's Cave (Mendelssohn)
on an old good quality upright piano and the experience sent
shivers down my spine, he played it with passion and dynamic power.Does anyone know a good recording of Fingal's Cave?, which I think
is the Hebrides overture.I think there is an old RCA victor recording but have never seen
or heard it.
