It's all about the music, dude! Sit down, relax and listen to some tunes.

Same title, different releases, 3 yrs apart. Remastered? Brubeck Berlin

129.105.186.62

I am interested in getting this recording and I can't seem to find out if the more expensive European (Sony International) release is remastered, or otherwise improved, from the 1995 US standard Sony release of the same title. The track count is the same, but the Euro release is a few years newer.
The recording is Dave Brubeck with Gerry Mulligan "Live at the Berlin Philharmonic"
Their respective catalog numbers are as follows:
Sony/CBS Legacy C2K 64820 (US 2xCD reissue)
Sony/CBS 481415 (Eu 2xCD reissue)

Can I learn anything from these catalog numbers?

Anyone happen to have the european release, or just have an idea from other experiences, if a three-years-more recent european release will come from a different master, or sound better for some reason? Thanks, Delfonic
