Although I had read many of you write about Eva, I never heard any of her music until I happened to see the figure skating exhibition by Michele Kwan at the Olympics.Michele Kwan (the most decorated figure skater in history- at the ripe old age of 21!) uses "Fields of Gold" as her main routine music.
What a haunting song! I immediately purchsed Songbird and apparently I was not the only one moved to do so. Michele Kwan was given a gold record by the record company in appreciation of her bringing Eva Cassidy's music to the attention of the world.
