i have Bruckner 8ths by Knappertsbusch and Celibidache and admire them both, perhaps the Celi more than the Kna, but, to me, nothing can touch the Furtwangler, and the '58 Karajan on EMI is the next best i know (better in most respects than his later Bruckner 8ths on DGG).patrick
