You may want to check on your pal Rob. He hasn't been his loquacious self lately. The few posts he has made seem to dwell on depression, despair & death.

Even more disturbingly, he has begun to post messages to himself. Still more chilling, he answers them himself.

As you may have noticed, there has been a rise in shootings & suicides among the under 30 age group, at least here in the States. Some people don't handle stress well, and can benefit from the attention of a friend, often more than that of a professional.

Since you guys hang out together, you may want to keep an eye on him. Bring him some food, or warm milk, etc. Avoid alchohol. There was that scary post he made about an anti-depressant drug. If he is on medication (anti-depressants, anti-psychotics, or even anti-inflammatories), make sure he stays on them. It's very important. I have found that it's helpful to say: "The medicine is your friend".
