RE: Oh Holy Night

Magnificent vocally, and it proves Sutherland could enunciate the words. She only does two verses, this time doing the first and second verses while skipping the third verse. Most skip the second verse, which is very sweet and comforting using Dwight's words, unlike the French original, which calls attention to income inequality.

I did all three verses during the Christmas Eve Mass, with the second verse in French. I like a number of recordings. Canadian tenor Raoul Jobin did a fine recorded performance, though like most, he skips the more revolutionary second verse.
