I just received the CD. I had listened to it on Tidal and was less than impressed with the SQ (maybe a bad day at Tidal). The CD, however, has wonderful SQ. The performances are great. The Sibelius is dynamic where it should be and achingly tender and beautiful where it should be. The Tchaikovsky is more lyrical than many recent recordings, and she takes the old cuts that used to be standard. Barenboim is an excellent accompanist. I have his recording with Vengerov of the Sibelius, too, and it is very good. Looking in the Fanfare index I see that he has never recorded any major Sibelius orchestral pieces, but he seems to know what to do with the concerto.
