Man, in DSD, there's a bit of harshness in the climax of the Catacombs, (but even the 45 rpm lp didn't quite tame the passage). I had the volume up too loud though.In a "Pines" mood, I almost sprung for the Oue but reviews say it's a bit underplayed. I'd have to buy the whole album too.
Hmmm. In any case I'm about to sample Neget-Seguin's Mahler 10th finale, samples suggest a more flexible approach than Dausgaard.
That said, was so impressed with Seattle sound that I'm definitely going to download their Faure album.
