Virtually all of us know her work, though many didn't really know it was Marni, not Hepburn/Kerr/Natalie Wood who was actually singing. Marni's husband - old pal musician Al Bloch, who played flute on the Gil Evans/Miles recordings and was in the saxophone section of the Sauter-Finegan band - passed away last year.
Two fine musicians, very nice people. R.I.P.
