Didn't the Sir Adrian Boult Westminster recording of one of the Schumann symphonies. . .

. . . have Chabas' "September Morn" on its cover? Why were people in Europe so much more comfortable with nudity in 1911 (when the picture was painted) than folks in the US were then or are now? Maybe it has something to do with our Puritan heritage? I'll never figure it out.

EDIT: It looks as if Westminster must have done some pre-Photoshop color correction on the Boult Schumann Symphonies cover:
