I came to see and hear mostly Miroslav Tadic, as I have not had a chance to hear Merima Kljuco before. I have number of Tadic's recordings and like his work a lot (its probably in my blood) and I have been on his concerts prior to this one. Drove from San Diego to LA for the concert and I am not sorry at all. Quite contrary, I can't wait for the other chance.
This concert, same as prior I attended, was excelent. Mostly music from Aritmia, exquisitely and passionately performed. Beautiful music, great technique, lot of emotions, explosive dynamics when needed on one end, emotional and delicate when needed on the other end, and all played acoustically. Plus, both were very nice to meet and talk after the concert.
Those who like odd rhythms, and/or music and interpretations off the beaten path should put Miroslav and Merima on their list of artists to explore. BTW, Miroslav's recordings are generally of good quality, and number of them are done either live or in one take and with no cuts or processing.
