And as for the concert attire, it seems you may have been "out of the scene" for awhile? I can tell you from experience that many of the high-school girls I accompany (violinists and cellists mostly) wear attire that would make Yuja Wang blush! In fact, I played a concert a couple of weeks ago where one girl's "gown" consisted of a shorter mini than any of Yuja's skirts, while her footwear consisted of high-top basketball shoes! Meanwhile, her parents were looking on approvingly. ;-)
