Know you are kidding, but wouldn't it be ridiculous and laughable to see modern instruments in that setting and playing that music, or anywhere else for that matter? Thank goodness, it's not done anymore except in amateur groups. I heard one last Christmas trying to do the Magnificat, and it was terrible.

If he was still around, I'd bet even Sir Thomas Beecham would agree.
