Are you serious?
Firstly, drug use by various artists [and even one of the popes in the 19th cent] was not even remotely like that of today's drug users. Anyone familiar with the history knows it's just not the same.
And furthermore, your silly little link, for anyone reading it with even a trace of intelligence, can see that the attempt to make the comparison is ridiculous. It's pretty much like saying, "see? Rockers are actually human beings who walk planet earth. Classical composers? Also humans who walked the earth. So - they're all exactly the same. Huh."
Bernstein was deathly ill. OOOOO!!! He was taking medicine. Drugs for his illness!!! OH MY!! That's EXACTLY like some dumb rocker getting high for pleasure. Hyup. Yup. Yuppers.
Alban Berg - prescription drugs - PRESCRIPTION DRUGSSSSSSSS??????!!!!!!
ADDICT!!!!!!!!!!!!
My elderly mother's also sick, and she's taking over a dozen different drugs. Mom - YOU DRUG USING ADDICT!!!!
OOOOO. Mozart and Beethoven were fond of alcohol. OOOOOO. OH MY! What revelations. Why - hardly anyone in the world consumes alcohol. Oh - those crazy, delirious, wacked-out classical composers. Shame. Shame.
Terry Riley - hallucinogens? Of course. What'd you expect from some hippy no talent fool? He proves my point. Oh, MINIMALISM? Yeah - it's just gussied up rock music. Pretentious rock music. If you want that - you want minimalism - the real thing - just crank up any TECHNO that happens to be on hand. THAT'S minimalism.
Hildegard Von Bingen - herbal remedies????? Damn, dude. That pretty much sinks every health food store and every zero-drug using organic fitness person in the world. YOU - YOU, Jiminy - you better warn them - and the FBI, ATF, and any other federal agency that these people - according to, GENIUS - are hardcore HERBAL DRUG USERS. ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!
So far you've demonstrated certain [there's no way other way to put this, even tho I may get banned for it] - lack of intelligence, but this really proves that you're missing more than a few point off of the IQ curve.
