He was a musical genius. His work from I'm Yours Through Sign of the Times was monumental...not only that, but his influence on other musicians was also staggering. See recent article to see what others think....really a genius. May not be your cup of tea musically but his talent is undeniable. I just picked up his Crystal Ball release two weeks ago. I had not listened to Prince in years. The last disc in the set was all acoustic guitar. BRILLIANT. I sent a disc I compiled out to a HS friend today and then a few hours later I heard he had died. Just completely shook me up. I had the pleasure of seeing him in concert a few times. I wish I had seen him more.
