Here's an almost-unknown Heifetz recording I am aware of only because of YouTube. It's a Largo in C minor by Clerambault (1676-1749), which appears to be an arrangement of an intermezzo from the secular cantata "Léandre et Héro."
The recording was made at Bell Telephone Laboratories on December 23, 1932. Rather amazing sound! (I assume that this is a rip from the CD on the Doremi label.)
