Well, it was never released officially (someone recognized the chocolate/beer affect) but segments of it are floating around on video clips. Performed in Japan in 1986, it won't change your mind on the subject but is a vast improvement on the OP's linked performance. This is mostly due to Rollins' playing, which usually will elevate whatever he's playing to the next level. Apart from that I agree with your analogy.
