Home Music Lane

It's all about the music, dude! Sit down, relax and listen to some tunes.

Dvorak and Szymanowski come to mind.

Although stylistically very different, as one would expect, I've always enjoyed the settings by Dvorak and Szymanowski. Both are well represented in the catalog. Robert Shaw made decent recordings of both for Telarc (the Szymanowski is coupled with the Poulenc setting). Simon Rattle's EMI recording has a durable presence in the catalog, but I've not heard it. Perhaps someone else could provide an opinion.
