Question for Fans of Philip Jones Brass Ensemble

I've always been a fan of the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble, having collected several of their Argo LPs back in vinyl days. Decca has reissued a lot of that material, variously recoupled, on CD. But the sound of the CDs seemed edgier to me than those old Argos. (Big surprise, eh?)

Now Amazon is offering CD reissues from the Marcophone label which look like they replicate original album content and cover art. I've never heard of that label, but the Amazon user reviews that mention sound quality tend to praise the remasterings.

My question: does anyone here have any experience with these reissues? I'd be particularly interested in hearing from folks who have compared these Marcophones with the Decca CDs. Anybody care to opine? Thanks.
