What a misemployment of resources (BR-A no less!) on the part of Naxos. Thanks for taking one for the team with that summary (and the wasted time it took to listen)! ;-)
I've heard that the Litton/Bergen SO series on BIS may be pretty good, based on the Sixth released so far, but I'm waiting for BIS hi-rez multi-channel downloads to become available on the eClassical site before I partake. Latest news (from a few days ago) is that the multi-channel downoads now in beta testing (yeay!), per Robert von Bahr's response to my post on SA-CD.net.
For the Fifth, I've got the Gergiev and Jurowski SACD's, both very good IMHO. Not many other pickings as far as hi-rez Prokofiev symphonies are concerned.
